A Visit From Uncle Matthew

My baby brother Matthew came to visit us last month. Well he is not a baby, he is 25 :) He was here for a few days and then my soon to be sister in law flew up too. They are getting married on April 27, 2013. I am so excited for them. Emily, Mason, Brent & I are all in the wedding. We just chilled out while he was here and spent great family time together! I loved it. I wish they lived closer.

2012 Apraxia Walk

The 2012 Greater Cleveland Area's Walk & Run for Childhood Apraxia was on Sunday, September 30th. This is my 2nd year coordiating the walk. This year was a little more stressful because everything we have been dealing with with Mason but we pulled it off! We had over 300 walkers and 65 runners and raised over $25,000 for Childhood Apraxia foundation CASANA! We celebrated 13 kids with Apraxia ranging from 3-9 years old. They are all so sweet. I love meeting the kids and their families. It so nice to meet people who know what you are going through. I am so passionate about this cause obviously because of Mason. I will keep raising awarness and fighting for Mason and kids just like him!

The Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to Burnnam's Orchard this past week. We have been going there every year for the past 7 years! The first time we went Emily was only 4 months old :). They have the best set up there. There is a huge pumpkin patch and apple orchard where you pick your own pumpkins and apples. The kids have the best time! It is a awesome family tradition! I LOVE fall!!!

Birthday Party & Cousins

Emily had 2 birthday parties this year. A party with her friends at a local spa that has an adorable kids salon and a cookout party with our family. We have a local salon called Kharma Salon & Spa and they the cutest kids space. They have a pink room where the girls can listen to music, dance, sing & dress up. The girls went in pairs to the the nail room and got their nails painted. It was so stinkin cute to watch Emily with all of her little friends. They really had the best time. She was even more excited that her teacher Mrs. Boose came to her party to help celebrate :) The cute room

We had the family birthday party on one of the hotest days of the year :p It was pretty miserable but the kids had a great time. My brother Brad & his wife Kelly came with 3 of the 3 of their kiddos. And my brother Nick and his wife came with my 2 little nephews. Anytime the cousins get together they have a great time! Trying to stay cool!

And That's A Wrap

I can not believe how fast Emily's 1st year of school went. I pray that every year is as awesome as kindergarten for Emily. She has a great time and learned so much! She was blessed with the most amazing teacher, Mrs. Boose. I even had a great time being able to volunteer through out the school year and getting to know all of the sweet kids in Emily's class. I hope 1st is just as great :) 1st Day of Kindergarten

Olympic Day

I am SOOOO far behind on my blogging. So please excuse all my random post I am about to do. lol. Mason's last day of preschool they had an olympic day. The kids were adorable doing all of the events. Mason did his very best! At the end they had a little ceremony and all received gold medals. He was SO proud of himself. We were so fortunate to have such amazing teachers. They were so excepting of him and his disabilites.
